When you think about it, it is almost unbelievable that grown men would say that some men have to go jobless or with fewer working hours as the necessary and inevitable cost of bringing down prices. I am reminded of my old fundamentalist grandmother's suspicion that God would have given us wings if he had intended for us to soar the heavens.
