["Hugo"] It was a cruel and brutal confrontation. As the federal police troops entered the city with tanks and firearms against unarmed citizens, I imagine we felt something akin to what the indigenous people of Mexico and Oaxaca must have felt when the Spanish arrived. We didn't really know how their weapons worked. We had seen tanks before, but they had never been used against us.
