It is one of the shared characteristics of modern revolutions that each exerts a powerful impact on the world scene, sometimes far beyond the borders of their country of origin.

It is not an unfamiliar problem, for all the great world revolutions, from the French Revolution in the late eighteenth century to the Russian and Chinese upheavals in our own era, unleashed shock waves which extended beyond the immediate borders of the revolutionary state.

Since any national and cultural boundaries are superficial compared to the universal needs and potentials of human nature, truly the entire global population is just as much the movement's concern as the activist's own community or nation.
